I looked at gopher briefly must be a couple of years back now. It looked like to much hard yakka at the time, and to hard to try migrate a lot of this stuff over. Combined with not being able to get any assist out of the guys that were trying to get me to make a transition, put it firmly in the to hard basket.

I guess I'm not sure what the transition would be? There is a niche group th does phlogging (Gopher blogging), and other such things, but I personally ju add it to the array of things I use. For the board I make public network messages available for read only. And for myself, Gopher is a nice way to re the previously mentioned phlogs and what not.
