Thank you all! I started BBSIng around 1987 at 300bps (quickly upgraded to as 1200bps after saving money like mad!) when I was starting highschool. Being in St. Louis, we were a huge WWIV town - there must have been at the peak around 1992-1994 probably 100+ WWIV systems in the St. Louis metro area alone.
I dropped out of BBSing around 1997/1998 as the entire hobby started to fall apart with everyone jumping ship to the Internet. Around 2010 I discovered a small subculture of BBS folks still around, and have been watching from the sidelines as it grew up again slowly.
Glad to be back - and glad to see so much participation!

Wasn't one of the first Fido nodes in St. Louis?

I am not sure. I did not get involved with Fidonet at all until near the end of the BBS era. For me, I was strictly a big time WWIVnet/WWIVlink/IceNet person (all WWIV-based networks) since that was what was predominate in the St. Louis market. It wasn't until I went off to college I started calling a few boards with Fidonet on it.
