• TCP test take 2

From apam@21:1/151 to All on Mon Dec 20 16:27:10 2021
    Hey

I think I've got tcp working now......................... it's been
running for 2 hours and I've had a few bots hit it, as well as me..

if you wouldn't mind clicking http://gcat.talismanbbs.com:8081/

it might load a test page, or it might have crashed again..

I'm hoping to get TCP working reliably so I can star working on a BBS for
    it!

    Woot! Thanks

Seems to still be running now, I'm going to leave it on overnight..
hopefully the CPU won't catch fire and burn the house down...

It's dropping lots of packets though, seems to drop more from places
further away, I suspect it's because it's slow and they are
    re-transmissions from the client.

    Thanks!

Thanks everyone for testing, it crashed about 6am this morning so I've
turned it off again for now. I think I've got the SYN ACK matching
working which is one problem solved, now I just need to find where I am corrupting memory (It crashed during a free).

It was very slow sending the graphic that's for sure, but I waited for the whole thing to load.

I'm sure I'm late to the game, but it's still loading. Loaded kinda slowly,
but it definitely is still working when checking from Germany.

Thankyou! Yes, it is a bit slow, I really should improve my hard drive
access code. It's been running for nearly 2 days straight now.

I found some problems a couple of days ago with my sockets
implementation, fixing which seems to have gotten things reasonably
    stable (touch wood).

hehe, just rereading messages. No, the House catch fire instruction was
not used, and so i am pleased to report, the house did not catch fire.

Good to hear that we didn't have to send a bunch of FFs (Firefighters) to restore things. :D
