I recently re-discovered some websites that provide classic
movie downloads from the 30's all the way through the 70s. One
site just makes links to the archive.org. ...
I am afraid that, after posting that, you are going to have
to post some links.
BUT.. you say below that you have enough! :) So, why bother
with revealing links? :P
(I'll see what I can do. They're on a remote pc where I have a
DSL connection).
I have a gigantic DVD collection of old films so I don't see
myself in the need rto download something anytime soon.
*Before* I discovered the usefulness of a media player (a small
physical box that allows for insertion of USB or SD cards and
then be plugged to my tv), I was taking material from YT (mostly
old tv shows that anyone was free to watch) and saving them to
DVD format. That process would take a while. Then I learned that
I could write them to RW discs and reuse the disc when I was
done. Well.. it turns out that I never could catch up with the
pre-exisiting DVDs nor the RWs! Really, I probably have enough
to entertain me for a while longer. But the temptation to check
out something newly disocvered (even if old) exists. The odd TED
video or documentary come to mind. Which reminds me..
WRT documentaries.. I keep these handy:
https://topdocumentaryfilms.com/
https://documentaryheaven.com/
I have found some fine material there covering a wide range of
topics.
