SITUATION
At 1800 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 45 nautical miles of
latitude ten decimal eight south (10.8S)
longitude one hundred and twenty three decimal five east (123.5E)
Recent movement : slow moving
Maximum winds : 30 knots
Central pressure: 999 hPa
The low is expected to develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 18 to 24 hours.
AREA AFFECTED
Within 80 nautical miles of the southern quadrants, extending to 50 nautical miles in the northern quadrant.
FORECAST
Maximum winds to 30 knots near the centre increasing to 35 knots by 0000 UTC 04 April.
From 0000 UTC 04 April winds above 34 knots within 80 nautical miles of centre in the southern quadrant, extending to 50 nautical miles in northern quadrants by 1800 UTC 04 April with rough seas and moderate swell.
