Description: The Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Justice have supported draft law No. 9103 "On the Institute of Registered Partnerships". This draft law proposes to introduce a registered partnership as a voluntary family union of two adults of the same or different sexes. Amendments are currently being prepared for the second reading. Previously, the negative conclusions of these ministries blocked the further progress of the draft law in the Verkhovna Rada.
