Can someone tell me the discription for this echo? It's not in my backbone list and just suddenly started showing up on my board.

    Hi Geri,
I have no idea how it could "suddenly show up". You might have to investigate that with your upstream node.

As for the group, it is supposed to be a discussion group about a specific genre of fiction called LITRPG. I'm quite happy about the topics getting a little broader into various other genres of speculative/fantasy fiction.

The echo is on the Elist database, so it should be listed in the new .NA file that's generated by that. I suppose it's possible that's how it showed up?

However it happened, glad to have you aboard!

    All the best
    John

I suppose so. Or perhaps.. "the story that never ends." :D

Sometimes. Mostly, fantasy stories that have game-like mechanics as part of the plot.

UPDATE on my take on the matter: it's like a "game" that never
    never ends.

I still have to revisit Bob! I've been pulled to other
readings ("normal" novels) in the meantime. :/

Reading my biweekly fixes of the serial Monroe has been a staple for me for about the last two years. I love reading about our feline overlord and his feckless servant ;-)

Honestly, when the book/series eventually comes to an end I'm going to really miss it.

Yeah, it seems that whenever a new echo suddenly appears, the BACKBONE.NA file does not get updated. Which reminds me, I wonder just WHEN the last time that file was updated.

Take a look at the "echolist" and "elist" echos. The backbone.na should be updated in the monthly files sent in one of those areas.
