mm looks for it in the mmail/down directory by default. Then when you have saved written messages, the REP packets ends up in the mmail/up directory by default.

ftp upload rep packet
Then here I change back to the mmail directory, where the two scripts are located.
I seem to remember this, but can't find the old cribsheet Rob or someone posted. Maybe my search foo is getting bad as I age ;) Ubuntu/mm if that helps. No problem scripting it out for automation, I just can't remember
the process.
I was one of the people that posted about it, but I don't remember where we were talking about it, either. You're definitely on the right track, though. ;)
