    It looks like the article is much shorter than it appeared when I saw it yesterday.. I recall reading in the article yesterday that Intel would just design chips, similar to what ARM does, and not manufacture chips. But maybe that's not the case.

    I run into the same thing. If I feel like I have to read the
    article, I'll temporarily disable the ad blocker. Otherwise, I
    close the window on it.

    Never before has one needed to disable an ad blocker to read an article/webpage, until recently. If they want to shove that many cookies down our throats, or bombard us with advertisements, or force one to give up their location, I'm not interested enough to use their site.
